At the recommendation of
TiE Atlanta,
TiE Global has chosen to feature Dr. Srinivas Kilambi, Founder and CEO of The Sriya Group of Companies, as a case study in its 2010 Annual Report.
The feature will cover Dr. Kilambi, winner of the
2009 TiE Gala Award “Top Up-and-Coming Entrepreneur” and also a “Top Deal Maker” award finalist, transition from President and CEO of Reliance Industries Bio-Refinery business to launching a
Nano Biorefinery (NBR) that converts biomass to sugars in seconds.
The case study will feature Dr. Kilambi’s introduction, involvement and mentorship provided by TiE Atlanta, which has helped him and his co-founder Kamal Gunsagar, Founder Lara Networks and a 35 year Bay Area veteran, take a modest lab scale of 0.2 grams biomass per day batch process with 4 employees to a current operation of 3000 kgs/day pilot plant in only 18 months, with over 50 employees.
