Sriya Innovations has been nominated as a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer Candidate for the class of 2011.

The World Economic Forum is an independent international organization committed to improving the state of the world by engaging leaders in partnerships to shape global, regional and industry agendas. It is most well known for organizing the Annual Meetings in Davos, Switzerland in January and in the People's Republic of China in September every year where top decision-makers from all sectors of global society are brought together to discuss current and pressing issues in the most representative way.

The Technology Pioneers Community is one of the most widely recognized initiatives of the World Economic Forum. To be selected as a Technology Pioneer, a company must be involved in the development of technology innovation and have the potential for long-term impact on business and society. In addition, it must demonstrate visionary leadership, show the signs of being a long-standing market leader, and its technology must be proven.

When selected,Technology Pioneers attract worldwide media attention – in the past Time,BusinessWeek, MIT's Technology Review and Red Herring have covered the award. Recipients of the award are fully integrated into the Forum's activities, are invited to the Annual Meeting in Davos, the Annual Meeting of the New Champions in China, as well as other regional and industry specific events that take place throughout the year.
